Mayelli Meza is a self-taught artist and muralist based in Dalton, Georgia, known for transforming spaces into meaningful, vibrant experiences. Her work is rooted in resilience and a deep belief that art has the power to heal, connect, and inspire.
As a survivor of domestic violence, Mayelli channels her personal journey—and the stories of others—into powerful murals that serve as both art and advocacy. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a mission to bring beauty, emotion, and purpose to public and private spaces.
With over 60 murals across Northwest Georgia and Tennessee, her work has gained widespread recognition, including being featured in The New York Times. Mayelli has also been invited to present her artwork at the Georgia State Capitol for three consecutive years, a reflection of the impact her work continues to have in her community and beyond.
Beyond murals, Mayelli creates connection through her signature sip-and-paint experiences—events that go far beyond a social gathering. From individuals to corporate teams, these experiences are designed to bring people together, encourage creativity, and build meaningful connections through art.
Deeply committed to giving back, Mayelli actively volunteers with local schools and community programs, using art as a tool to inspire confidence, healing, and self-expression in the next generation.
Art creates pride. Art builds up communities.
